Cost & Insurance
Cost - General
The fees are $ 235 per hour for psychotherapy and $ 250 for assessment.
You can pay via credit card, cash or e-transfer. A receipt will automatically be sent to you.

Cost - Assessment
I provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments that integrate multiple dimensions, including medical conditions, cognitive, educational, mental health, and neurodevelopmental functioning. These assessments are designed for children and youth with complex presentations that often require in-depth understanding across multiple domains.
Due to the complexity of the cases I accept, I focus on quality over quantity. I do not take on high volumes of assessment cases, as my focus is on delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments tailored to the unique needs of each child or youth due to their complexity.
What Is Included in the Assessment?
Each comprehensive neuropsychological assessment includes:
-
Clinical Interviews with parents and/or the youth.
-
Feedback Session with parents and/or the youth.
-
Consultation with External Professionals. This may include communication with teachers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, pediatricians or family physicians.
-
Between 1 and 3 testing sessions, each lasting up to 3 hours. The number of sessions depends on the complexity of the child/youth's presentation (e.g., bilingual profile).
-
Administrative work, scoring, analysis, interpretation, and report writing.
Fee Structure
The total Cost is between $4,500 and $6,000. The final cost depends on the complexity of the presentation and the extent of the assessment required. You will not be billed more than $6,000 if more time is required to do more testing or to write the report.
I recognize that many families are not initially aware of the full scope and depth of comprehensive assessments. This is why I only offer fully integrated assessments that cover all necessary areas, such as medical, mental health, neurodevelopmental, cognitive, and educational.

Cost - Intervention
An intervention session (i.e., psychotherapy or family therapy) lasts 50 minutes. Sometimes, sessions will be shorter or longer. The session will be charged according to the duration (pro rata).
The cost of psychotherapy is adjusted based on the number of sessions. For the first 25 sessions, the rate is $235 per hour. Between the 26th and 45th sessions, the cost is reduced to $215 per hour. After 46 sessions, the rate is $200 per hour.
Families occasionally ask me to write a letter or attend School Meetings. For non-direct contact, like these two examples, my hourly rate will be applied (pro rata).

Insurances
After each session, intervention or assessment, you will receive a detailed receipt with the duration of the session and my credentials; permit number from the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) and Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ). You use this receipt to claim directly to your insurance.
